Mr. Kader of Ballinger will be leading a behind the scenes tour of the Academy of Music for the Philadelphia section of IES. He will give a general tour of the theater; walking through the renovated front of house spaces, basement cantina, and a tour of the stage. He will discuss the theatrical lighting used and the challenges for lighting shows at this venue. The house and lobby lighting will be discussed along with the new chandelier renovations with Mr. Trosino the project director from KlingStubbins. This will be an informative opportunity to walk a Philadelphia theater and get an intimate look at the lighting design. Plan to meet in the lobby at 6 pm. The tour will last approximately an hour and a half.

Suggested After Event Rendezvous:
The Tavern on Broad has half price drinks until 8pm with Karaoke Night starting at 9pm. IES Philadelphia is not sponsoring a happy hour but wanted to give a suggestion if anyone wants a quick drink before or after the tour.
